Saltsman Construction, Inc., specialists in bridge construction, was founded nearly 50 years ago by Jack Saltsman and John W. Saltsman, Jr. Under the leadership of President and owner John W. Saltsman, Jr., the Company was experienced with all types of major transportation projects, specifically major and minor bridgework. Over the years, John Saltsman and his company built numerous bridges ranging from small pedestrian walkways to mega structures such as the 9th Street Bridge over James River in Virginia.

With over 30 years of bridge construction experience, John Saltsman completed hundreds of major interstate overpass bridges in the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and Virginia, working closely with the Departments of Transportation throughout the Southeastern United States.
